The festival wants to build the world's BIGGEST disco ball!
The Biggest 90’s-00’s Disco Festival is back with a bang on June 25th 2022 at Punchestown.
And this year, they're aiming to break a world record by building the biggest disco ball in the world.
Irish company Spectrum Productions are working on building a the disco ball more than 10.33 metres.
That's the current world record size which was lifted into the air and rotated at the Bestival Festival in 2014.
So – how big are we talking??
Well, we're told to think of the height of a telephone pole or stacking two giraffes on top of each other.

The festival is back this year with 15,000 disco fans expected to enjoy the music across three stages in Kildare this summer.
It's the Biggest Disco’s first festival since 2019 and will feature some of the biggest acts of the 1990’s and 00’s.
We're talking Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Basshunter, Vengaboys, Gala, Paul Oakenfold, to name a few!
There's to be flash mobs, confetti, fire, CO2 jets, drone shows, fireworks, as over 40 acts take to the stage.
