Dog's Bay in Galway named the best beach in Ireland

Spots in Donegal and Mayo also make up the top three.

Ireland's best beach is Dog's Bay in Co Galway.

It's followed by Trá Mór in Co Donegal, and Keem Bay in Achill in Co Mayo, according to the latest list from the Lonely Planet.

Others among the top ten include Banna Strand in Co Kerry, and Ballyquin Beach in Co Waterford.

Just one Dublin beach makes the list, with Killiney Beach named at number ten.
