Items were burnt on the roads and missiles were thrown at officers and their vehicles.
It's after an attack saw a bus hijacked and set alight earlier in the week - also thought to be linked to Brexit negotiations.
Two boys - aged 12 and 15 - have been arrested after disorder in Belfast last night.
