Over €100K has been raised in 24 hours for 'Baxter the Brave'.
A GoFundMe campaign set up to raise funds for a seriously ill Irish boy and his family has raised over €100,000K in just over a day.
Six-year-old Baxter Browne has been diagnosed with SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency) a congenital auto-immune disease that requires ''radical treatment'' - not available in Ireland.
This being the case, Baxter must travel to the Great North Children's Hospital, in Newcastle, England with his dad Kenneth.
Sadly, Baxter lost his mum Lynn earlier this year following a tragic accident.
In the coming months the boy dubbed 'Baxter the brave' must undergo chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

The fundraiser was set up by Baxter's aunts Jules Keeley-Hughes, Carol Keeley and Sarah Jane Kelly with a goal of raising €50,000.
''It is truly devastating that Baxter is going through this right now and asking for financial assistance isn't easy. However, any support at all is deeply appreciated and will go a long way to giving a little boy back his life,'' the page reads.
The target was surpassed emphatically and is still growing.
In response to the generosity of the donations Ms Keeley-Hughes wrote: ''We are so incredibly thankful & overwhelmed by the amazing response to the campaign for Baxter. In just one day, you all helped to not just hit but to absolutely smash the target we set. There truly is a fantastic kindness and generosity in the world.''
