There'll be highs of 17 degrees in parts of the country this week. Met Éireann predicts a week of dry weather ahead with plenty of sunshine. Just what the doctor ordered.
Here's the full forecast for the rest of this week and the weekend:
Wednesday Night
It'll be dry tonight with long clear spells. Mist patches will set in later with a touch of frost and lows of 0 degrees in parts.
Thursday
Thursday will be dry and mostly sunny with some light to moderate breezes. Highs in the afternoon of 17 degrees. It'll be coolest along southern and eastern coastal counties but pleasantly mild in sunshine elsewhere. Thursday night will be cold with clear skies and temperatures dropping to -1 degrees.
Friday
It'll be another dry day with a mix of cloud and sunshine. Highs of 17 degrees but it'll be cooler near southern and eastern coasts. Staying dry on Friday night but a little more cloud about means temperatures will be slightly higher with lows of 4 degrees.
Saturday
Dry with good sunshine over Munster, variable amounts of cloud elsewhere with some hazy sunny spells. Highs of 16 degrees. On Saturday night, the could will be moving east early in the night to leave a dry and mostly clear night. Lows of 3 degrees.
Sunday
Sunday looks like the sunnier day of the weekend at present, with just some patchy cloud. A moderate east to northeast breeze will have a cooling effect over the eastern half of the country with highs of 12 degrees in eastern counties and along the south coast, but further west, there'll be maximum temperatures of 17 degrees.
