We brought home 8 awards in total!

What a night for radio!

It's the biggest date in the calendar for radio, where the best of the best in the industry are honoured and awarded for their hard work and talent.

The 2021 IMRO Radio Awards were held virtually and hosted by comedian and broadcaster Dermot Whelan.

And this year's awards had the largest ever number of entries!

The awards cover a wide range of the broadcasting sector including news, music, current affairs and entertainment.

And we here at iRadio are just delighted with our results!

Here's what we brought home...

We're delighted with our Silver for Music Station of the Year.

A glorious Gold for Digital and Social Innovation with Media Central for Shine Festival.

And it was Silver for Digital and Social Innovation for Tik Tok Mic Drop.

Fionnuala Corbett is on a two year streak with her Silver for News Broadcaster of the Year.

While presenter Brian McEvoy took home Silver for Radio DJ of the Year.

iRadio in the Afternoon with Dave and Fionnuala got Silver for General Music Programme.

We got Silver for Station Imaging.

And a Bronze for The Hub for Magazine Programme.
