There's anger from 200,000 Irish Vapers today as the Oireachtas Health Committee are calling on the Government to ban flavoured vapes.

However the Government are being urged to ban sales to under 18's rather than ban the vapes according to the Respect Vapers Committee.

They are asking for the flavouring of e-cigarettes and all flavours to be regulated.

Spokesperson Joe Dunne says the government needs to listen to experts, and that flavoured vapes play a pivotal role in helping people to quit smoking.

He says they have made recommendations to the government based on expert opinions surrounding tobacco harm reduction.
