It's not exactly known how many people have died.
Deadly wildfires in the US state of Oregon have left half-a-million people fleeing their homes.
Thousands of homes have been destroyed while as many as 15 people may have died, reports The Guardian - while many more people are unaccounted for.
More than 100 fires are currently scorching 12 US states, including California and Washington.
The flames are spreading because of hot, dry winds - and they're moving so quickly people haven't been given much notice to leave.
Oregon State governor Kate Brown is blaming climate change.
''We expect to see a great deal of loss as a result of these fires both in terms of structures and in terms of human lives'', she said.
''As I mentioned earlier it could be the greatest loss in human lives and property due to wildfire in our states history''.
