All wedding guests must be out of function room by 11.30pm under new guidelines

It's part of number of updated wedding guidelines published by Fáilte Ireland.

Fáilte Ireland has issued new guidelines regarding weddings while Covid-19 restrictions are still in effect.

According to guidelines, all wedding guests must be exited from a wedding function room by 11.30pm.

However, this does not include staff members left to clear up after the guests.

Face coverings should also be worn by employees in customer-facing roles where there are no protective screens or a distance of two meters between them.

It is also advised that guests the property through doors that are automated or manually operated by an employee.

And with regards to food, there will be no shared plates on the table such as mash or veg.

Face coverings should also be worn by guests when arriving and leaving from their seats.

In regard to dancing, the document states: “Signage on tables and dance floors must ask guests to respect physical distancing guidelines,” the document states.

“Employees must monitor and manage distancing”.
