Gusts of up to 110km/h are expected in parts.
Met Éireann has issued five separate weather warnings set to affect 16 different counties.
All of the warnings are status yellow wind alerts, and warn of gusts of up to 110km/h this afternoon and evening.
A warning for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick is valid from 3pm today until 1am on Thursday (tommorow).

A similar alert for Leitrim, Sligo, Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow and Meath comes into effect from 9pm tonight until 2am tomorrow - warning of string winds ''coupled with high tides bringing an increased risk of coastal flooding''.
While the final alert is for counties Antrim, Down and is valid from 9pm until 3am tomorrow morning.
In short, it's going to be a blustery evening across much of the country!
