It's just as well there'll be no trick or treating.
A wet and windy weekend is in store for most of the country, with Met Éireann issuing warnings issued for 26 counties.
A Status Yellow wind warning will take effect for Ireland from 1am to 3pm Saturday, with the national forecaster warning:
''Very unsettled weather will occur over the Halloween weekend as a series of vigorous Atlantic weather systems pass close to Ireland.
''Spells of heavy rain will lead to surface and river flooding.
''Very windy/stormy at times with some severe and damaging gusts possible.
''Some coastal flooding possible also due to the combination of low pressure, high tides and onshore winds''.

Meanwhile a status yellow rainfall warning is currently in place for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick until 6am on Friday.
Met Éireann forecaster Gavin Gallagher says people should bring in their outdoor appliances tomorrow.
''It will be a very unsettled weekend, we have three different low pressure systems com close to Ireland over the weekend.
He added that it'll be a period of wet and windy weather for a three day period...great!
