It'll be a wet and wild weekend in some counties.

Met Éireann has issued weather warnings for six counties tomorrow.

A yellow wind alert will begin at 9am in Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry.

For those counties, the national forecaster said: ''Southerly winds will reach mean speeds of 45 to 60 km/hr with gusts of 80 to 100 km/hr.''

And a rainfall warning will begin at 11am in Cork, Kerry and Waterford - with spot flooding expected.

''Spells of heavy rain with amounts of 25 to 35 mm and spot flooding. Reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions''.
