Donald Trump is still refusing to concede.

Senior officials in the US have stated there is no evidence the voting system in the Presidential election was compromised.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency issued a statement on behalf two key bodies which said the election was the most secure in American History.

Donald Trump is still refusing to concede, as he continues to allege widespread fraud without any evidence.

A former National Security Advisor to the President, John Bolton, says it's time for the President to move on.

''Time is running out here and I think from just a purely partisan Republican point of view, that Trump is damaging the party every day this charade goes on'', he said.

''And I know its hard for some people to lose, but the facts are that he's making things up that call into question the integrity of the US election process''.

The statement from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency reads:

"When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary.

"This is an added benefit for security and resilience. This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors. There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised."

"While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too."
