More snow will fall in parts tonight.
Two more yellow weather warnings are coming into effect overnight with more rain, snow and ice forecast.
A yellow warning for snow and ice is in place from 2am for Leinster, Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal with 5cm of snow possible.
Meanwhile, a status yellow alert for rain comes in at midnight for Cork, Kerry and Waterford until midday tomorrow with a risk of flooding.

Friday
Ice and lying snow will leave for hazardous conditions in some areas, mainly in Connacht. Becoming dry in most parts during the afternoon but patchy rain will persist in southern coastal counties. Another cold and blustery day with highs of 5 degrees. It'll be cold and windy tonight with heavy rain in the southwest and west and turning increasingly to snow in the midlands, north and east. Lows of -2 degrees with strong to gale force southeast winds.
Saturday
Sleet and snow in the north and east for a time in the morning. Elsewhere, there'll be outbreaks of rain and drizzle. By afternoon, falls of snow will become confined to northeast Ulster with a thaw setting in elsewhere. Further outbreaks of rain for the afternoon and evening with highs of 4 degrees in the north and east but hitting closer to 10 degrees in southern and western counties. Strong to gale force southeast winds. Saturday night will be windy with any lying snow continuing to thaw. Temperatures continuing to rise overnight, ranging between 7 to 11 degrees
Sunday
Sunday looks set to be a wet and very windy day with spells of heavy rain and gale force southerly winds. Mild with highs of 13 degrees. Rain clearing northeastwards by evening with scattered outbreaks of rain returning overnight. Lows of 6 degrees at night.
