'Severe downpours' are expected in places.
The wet and wild weather is set to continue in parts of the country today, with yellow weather warnings in place for 19 counties across the island of Ireland.
All of Leinster as well as Waterford and Tipperary is currently under a warning until 9pm tonight (Tuesday).
The national forecaster says: ''Thunderstorms with hail expected again today mainly in parts of east Munster and Leinster giving severe downpours in places with some surface flooding''.

While Antrim, Armagh, Down, Tyrone and Derry all have a warning for thunderstorms causing flooding and disruption valid from 1:30pm Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday.
Blight Warning
Weather conditions conducive to the spread of potato blight will develop later Tuesday in parts of the northwest and west and will persist through mid-week.
There will be some opportunities for spraying Tuesday morning.
