The Taoiseach has rejected criticism that the government's COVID plan is chaotic, confusing and contradictory.

While there have been calls in the Dáil for COVID test results to be turned around in 24 hours for everyone.

The Dáil is back today after the antics of last night when it was adjourned pending a COVID test for Minister Stephen Donnelly.

Mary Lou McDonald with the first slot in Leaders' Questions said everyone should have access to the turnaround in results that the Health Minister got, with results communicated in 24 hours.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin said the five-point plan is not sketchy and is very clear across the country. On the specific advice for Dublin, the Taoiseach said people are being encouraged not to leave the county.

The rows come ahead of NPHET meeting tomorrow to consider jumping Dublin up to level three restrictions, which most people in Leinster House think is highly likely.
