Car set on fire after being crashed into takeaway in Dublin

Two men reportedly fled the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a car was driven into a Dublin takeway and set on fire.

The blue Volkswagen Passat was crashed into the shutters of the premises on the Crumlin Road in the early hours of yesterday morning.

No one was injured, while two men were reported to have fled the scene in the direction of Rutland Avenue.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to contact Sundrive Road Garda Station.
