A driver has been arrested and charged after being clocked traveling at 207km/h on the M9 motorway in Kildare.
Gardaí released details of the incident via social media, in which the motorist was caught at a whopping 87km/k over the speed limit.

The incident comes just over a week after National Slow Down Day on December 11th, a day in which An Garda Síochána remind drivers of the dangers of speeding.
From 1st January – 31st October 2020 there have been 151,055 speeding detections (+26% on same period in 2019).
All speed enforcement zone locations are available on the Garda website. The penalty for speeding is 3 penalty points and an €80 euro fine if paid within 28 days.
