Gardaí are trying to track down where they came from.
Seven gorgeous Cocker Spaniel puppies have been seized by Gardaí, after they were found in a car at Junction 14, Monasterevin in Co. Kildare.
Garda officers became suspicious of two cars in the truck park of the service area, and subsequently found the dogs inside.
The puppies were not micro-chipped and have been handed over to to ISPCA and a Garda investigation has begun.
They are appealing for anyone with information about the pups to come forward.
It's the latest in a long list of dog-nappings around Ireland, which included an 85 year old pensioner in Co. Meath having his dog stolen.
However, that story had a happy outcome thankfully when 'Brandy' was returned to Sean Garrigan earlier this month.
