The gladiator is fan.
In case you missed it yesterday, The Late Late Toy Show has announced it's looking for toy testers and performers to take part in the 2020 edition of the show.
Obviously here in Ireland the show is a cultural institution stretching back as far as many of us can can even remember.
But has word of it spread beyond our shores? Maybe it has...because apparently the Gladiator himself, Oscar winner Russell Crowe is a fan of the show.
Upon yesterday's announcement looking for kids to take part, the superstar tweeted: ‘Doesn’t matter where you’re from, if you have a kind soul and an open heart you’ll appreciate how wonderful this tradition from Ireland is!’

And the actor's Irish fan base certainly welcomed the news that he is a fan, with his tweet gathering thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.

''Aw thanks for sharing that, It’s a huge deal here'', said another.
