Self contained tourist accommodation will also be able to reopen.

Pubs, restaurants and hotels are to open in Northern Ireland on July 3rd.

The move was agreed upon by Ministers in the Stormont Executive at a meeting earlier.

From the 26th of June - caravan parks, camp sites and self-contained tourist accommodation will also be able to reopen.

Chief Executive at Hospitality Ulster Colin Neill called the news a 'welcome development'.

''There will be challenges going forward, not all businesses will be able to open immediately'', he said.

''Particularly under the 2m social distancing rules, but I believe the industry is ready with all its health and safety procedures and that we can deliver a safe experience for our customers and for our staff''.
