Filming has resumed for the sixth season of Peaky Blinders

The show's creator says this will be the "best series of all".

Good news for Peaky Blinders fans!

Filming has resumed for the hit show with crew sharing a sneak peek of Cillian Murphy getting the Tommy Shelby haircut.

The cast and crew originally halted filming the latest season back in March amid Coronavirus concerns.

On the Peaky Blinders official website, creator Steven Knight said:

“Peaky is back and with a bang”

“After the enforced production delay due to the Covid pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher."

"We believe this will be the best series of all and are sure that our amazing fans will love it.  While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.”

It's not yet known when the new series will be aired.
