Gardaí have arrested a motorist in Co. Kildare who was found to be nine times over the legal alcohol limit.
An investigation is underway after the car was found on its side on the Dublin Road in Naas.
Gardaí say the driver arrested by Naas Roads Policing Unit recently, was "very lucky to escape injury".
Driver clocked at 242km.
It's not the first traffic offence to come from Kildare this week, after a driver has been caught going double the speed limit on the M4 yesterday.
The motorists was clocked at 242kmph and was subsequently arrested.
