Will we see this style on the field in the near future?
Irish sportswear company O'Neill's say it's not surprising high-end brands are starting to sell GAA-inspired shorts for massive prices.
Gucci has started selling white shorts with a green and red trim for over €500. The style has received mainstream attention since the airing of Normal People, while Paul Mescal has kept the shorts in the spotlight since while out walking in London.

O'Neill's Marketing Manager Cormac O'Farrell says they may have to rethink their prices soon:
"While we're delighted with the exposure and needless to say, the spike in sale, I think we're somewhat frustrated that our financial director .. When he sees the prices that these inflated brands can get for their products and we're at normal prices, in around €20".
However, he added that it's all in good faith:
"I think it's a good story. It's good for us, especially in the times that we're in".
