No further counties to be moved to level 3 today, says NPHET

No counties will be moved up a level of restrictions today after a decision from NPHET.

However, there will be further nationwide restrictions on visitors to peoples homes.

The rules are to change meaning people can have no more than six people from ONE other household visit your home or garden at any one time.

Under current rules people are allowed to have six visitors from three different households.

The change is in a bid to limit the amount of contacts people are having socially and to target community transmission.

So effectively every county will stay on the level it's at currently for everything except for visitations to the home, which will be limited to six people from one other household.
