Promoters have informed fans that the Balearic government has restricted clubs from opening this season.
According to BBC News, the Balearic Government has made the call and said that venues can't open their doors until next year at the earliest. Local media also suggests that the government hasn't ruled out keeping the ban in place during 2021, or until there's a Coronavirus vaccine or treatment.
Venues are posting on social media that they will return in 2021.
The statement from the clubs says they're "determined to work towards delivering our biggest season ever in 2021".
