Two paddleboarders who were missing off the coast of Galway have been found alive.
The two women, aged 17 and 23 had set out paddle boarding from the beach in Na Forbacha (Furbo) yesterday afternoon.
The Galway RNLI says they were found by a local fisherman clinging onto a lobster pot after being reported missing after 10pm last night.
They're being brought back to shore after being in the water for 15 hours.
They've been taken to Galway University Hospital, but they are believed to be safe and well.
Barry Heskin, from Galway RNLI says they were found by a fisherman and his son from Galway City, who had gone out specifically to search for the missing pair.
