Dog missing for two weeks in the Wicklow Mountains is rescued

An Irish family have been celebrating after their family dog was rescued from the Wicklow mountains.

Their eight year old pet, Neesha had been missing for two weeks.

The golden retriever became separated while out for a family walk with her owners on January 23rd.

Last Saturday, Jean Francois and his partner Ciara Nolan were out hiking and found Neesha in a frail state.

They managed to carry her down the mountain. They then contacted the Ash Animal Rescue centre in Wicklow, who located her owners and returned her home.
