Another man has been hospitalised.
A teenager has died in a car crash overnight in county Mayo.
The one-car crash happened at around 11pm on the N60 between Ballyhaunis and Ballinlough at Cloonafarna.
A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man aged 21 was taken to Mayo University Hospital, where his injuries aren't thought to be serious.
The road is currently closed with diversions in place as a forensic examination is carried out.
Any witnesses are being asked to contact Gardaí in Claremorris.
