A statement is due later this afternoon.
Two errors have been found in the calculated grades process for the Leaving Cert.
The mistakes are likely to impact the grades of around 10 per cent of students who sat the exams this year.

Around 10 per cent of students will be impacted by this and it's expected many of those grades will be revised up.
The CAO third round offers had been due to be released tomorrow and are likely to be deferred. The CAO will also have to consider whether anyone who has jumped points and should have gotten the course they initially wanted will be able to take it up this year.
The problems have arisen from an external examination of the calculated grades process.
