The show will be a busker special to raise funds for the Simon Community.

The line up for the final edition of the Late Late Show for 2020 has been revealed, and it's going to be an absolute belter of a show.

Bono, the Edge, Imelda May, Glen Hansard and Shane McGowan will be on to help raise money for people stuck in homelessness.

The episode will be a Busker special to raise funds for the Simon Community.

Every Christmas Eve musicians play music on Grafton Street for the "Christmas Eve Busk Out"- however this year it can't happen due to Covid-19.

But now, the event will take the national spotlight, with members of U2 to perform a special version of Walk On as well as a Christmas song.

Head of Fundraising at Simon Emma Kilkenny, says the tradition started 10 years ago "on a whim".

''We literally just started it on a whim and since then the likes of Mundy and Sinead O'Connor joined in''.

''A couple of months ago we thought all was lost and it wasn't going to happen at all, so we're absolutely thrilled that it's happening.

''And that it's such a big busk in comparison to what we're used too''.
