Three men and two women were taken into custody.
Five people have been arrested in Northern Ireland after a kidnapping in county Donegal, involving a man in his 30s.
The victim was assaulted at a house in Convoy and forced into a Grey Mercedes Benz C Series with a Meath registration, which subsequently drove away from the scene.
After searches by Gardaí and the PSNI the man was found at around 5.30pm and taken to Letterkenny hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Mercedes was then found outside a house in Castlederg, County Tyrone.
Three men and two women were arrested and taken into custody.
An incidence room has been set up at Letterkenny Garda station.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses around the Convoy, County Donegal area at around 11:45am on sunday, to come forward.
