The company has increased it's delivery areas.
700 jobs have been announced nationwide by Just Eat, with the food delivery company recruiting additional couriers to meet growing consumer demand due to Level 5 restrictions.
The workers will service expanded delivery areas in urban locations.
Just Eat says it's increased its delivery areas, where independent restaurants have been most impacted by the new restrictions.
"We anticipate increased demand during the lockdown period and want to ramp up in order to ensure that we capture all those orders on behalf of our restaurant partners," said Amanda Roche-Kelly, Just-Eat Ireland's Managing Director.
"With the additional fleet we can service more restaurants in more areas reaching more hungry consumers," she added.
