He's ahead by 5,000 votes there.

Joe Biden has taken the lead in another key state for the US presidential election.

He's ahead by 5,000 votes in Pennsylvania and would clinch the Presidency if he wins that state.

Biden also leads in Nevada, Georgia and Arizona - meaning Donald Trump now has a slim chance of being re-elected.

Earlier today, Biden took the lead in the state of Georgia too where he currently leads by over 1,000 votes.

If he wins there, Donald Trump's hopes of re-election will be over.

Officials in the state say they'll make sure every legal ballot cast is counted.

However, Donald Trump's struck a different one, claiming corruption and fraud with postal votes. His speech last night prompted some US networks to cut him off:

The race remains tight, but Joe Biden is ahead in Nevada and Arizona and is cutting into the President's lead in Pennsylvania.

Taoiseach Michael Martin says Ireland will work with whoever clinches victory.
