A pub in Offaly has hilariously parodied the scenes from a bar in Dublin last weekend.
The Berlin D2 bar in Dublin city centre, faced strong criticism after footage emerged from a 'boozy brunch' event where social distancing certainly didn't seem like a priority.
And now JJ Hough's singing pub in Banagher - famous for it's Christmas videos - has recreated the scene within its empty walls.
The pub captioned the video by saying:
''Meanwhile in Offaly......While Offaly is locked down the Urban Rural divide becomes even more apparent.''
The clip begins by showing the scenes from the Dublin bar at the weekend, before switching to the scenes in the Offaly pub.
The bartender dresses in the same distinctive outfit as the now infamous Dublin drink pourer, tips drink out to an empty bar-- with the hashtag #doublestandards accompanying the video on the original post.
Hopefully for JJ Hough's sake, they'll be able to pour drinks into customer's glasses again in the not to distant future.
