An Irish man aged in his 20s has died in Spain after being involved in a road crash in the early hours of Monday morning.
The incident happened in the Costa del Sol resort of Marbella in Spain, the Journal reports.
According reports the man was out with friends when he was struck by a car and died, while another man is said to have been injured in the incident.
The victim and his friends were reportedly 'in great spirits' having been on a horse and carriage tour of the town just hours before the tragic incident.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
