Professor of immunology at Trinity College, Luke O'Neill says importing Covid-19 cases is now the main concern.
''We've got the virus on the run in this country now, it's almost gone from the community which is fantastic news'', he said.
''The next risk is importing it into the country, that's the only way we can get it next.
''And that's either visitors coming, or us going away and bringing it back with us''.
