It's after news emerged last night of Level Five restrictions lasting until May.

There's been strong criticism of how the government has been communicating new COVID restrictions.

It's after news emerged of Level Five restrictions lasting until May.

Social Democrats co-leader Roisin Shortall stated the drip feeding of information is unfair, saying that:

"The communications from government are just atrocious at the moment and it's completely unacceptable".

The current COVID restrictions are set to last until May with very little easing of any measures before then.

The return for school students will be gradual, and will be phased in every two or three weeks.
