However, there'll also be some thunder in parts.
Good news if you've been enjoying this recent spell of good weather.
It's set to continue for most of the week with highs of 24 degrees in parts of the country. The best of the weather is predicted to be on Tuesday but here's the full week's forecast according to Met Éireann:
Monday
Showers or longer spells of rain will extend from the south through the mid-morning and afternoon, with heavy and thundery bursts possible especially in Leinster and Ulster. Further west occasional bright spells are possible but it'll get cloudier throughout the afternoon. Highs of 22 degrees, warmest in any bright spells over west Munster and Connacht. Tonight will be generally dry, mild and humid with some patchy mist and showers. Lows of 11 degrees.
Tuesday
Generally dry and mostly cloudy on Tuesday with just a few sunny spells and the possibility of some isolated showers. Cloud will likely break in the southwest in the afternoon, with some good sunshine, and extending over much of the country during the evening. Continuing warm with highs of 24 degrees. Tuesday night is set to be a dry night with good clear spells and patchy mist with lows of 10 degrees.
Wednesday
Dry and mostly cloudy to start but brightening up during the afternoon with isolated showers possible in parts. It'll be warm again, with highs of 24 degrees. Wednesday night will be mild overnight with temperatures of 10 degrees. Some showery conditions may develop in the southeast towards dawn.
Thursday
There's a good deal of uncertainty but current indications suggest that after a mainly dry start to the day, showers will move in from the south becoming widespread with the risk of thundery downpours. Highs of 22 degrees. Mild and humid overnight with lowest temperatures of 13 degrees as showers continue.
Friday
Generally cloudy with scattered showers. There is still a potential for some thundery bursts in places. Highest temperatures of 23 degrees.
Weekend
Continuing warm on Saturday and Sunday with showers. Highest temperatures ranging from 17 to 22 degrees.
