Fears over the whereabouts of Fungi have eased, after the dolphin was reported missing.
Reports the world-famous dolphin hadn't been seen in over two days were widely circulating last night and this morning, however a local fisherman is reported to have seen him yesterday.
Jimmy Flannery of Dingle Sea Safari and Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours says it looks like he's alive and well.
''When the story broke last night we, Fungi forever, we got contacted in by the fisherman straight away that he had seen Fungi yesterday morning'', he said.
''And one of the other boats that was out yesterday evening got a glimpse of Fungi as well''.
Fungi has been living in Dingle bay for around 37 years but he's believed to be over 40 years old.
