Take care on the roads.
Met Éireann is warning drivers to take some extra care while out on the roads this morning, as freezing foggy conditions continue around the country.
After what was a very foggy weekend, the national forecaster says, ''lingering fog patches could lead to dangerous driving conditions in some areas''.
However, things are set to brighten up later today, "as the fog slowly lifts with sunny spells developing''.
''Scattered showers will develop over Ulster and along eastern coasts. Cold with afternoon highs of just 1 to 5 degrees, coolest where fog lingers. Light northerly breeze becoming light to moderate northwesterly later."
Our Status Yellow fog warning has been extended to 13:00 Monday.
