The mother and two young children who were tragically found dead inside a South Dublin home have been named.
The bodies of 37-year-old Seema Banu, her 11-year-old daughter Asfira Syed and six-year-old son Faizan Syed were discovered in a house in Llewellyn estate in Ballinteer around midday yesterday.
They moved to the area in the past year, with both children attending a nearby school.
Gardai have spoken with a man known to the victims and post mortems are due on their bodies today.
However, investigators still say the case is being treated as unexplained and no arrests have been made.
Last night, a candlelit vigil was held in the estate for the family, who hadn’t been seen in a number of days.
