All workers at the factory will now be tested.

Another meat processing factory has been hit with an outbreak of Covid-19, after two staff members from ABP's plant in Clones, Co Monaghan tested positive.

RTE is reporting that a total of 15 employees have tested positive for Covid-19 at three separate meat plants around the country.

Nine cases have been reported at ABP's meat processing facility in Cahir, Co Tipperary, alongside the two new cases confirmed at their plant in Monaghan.

Meanwhile four cases have been confirmed at the Rosderra Irish Meats plant in Clara, Co Offaly.

In a statement, the company said testing was being carried out at the site in Clones "a precautionary measure" and the plant remains open.
