It's fair to say we've seen our fair share of emotional Christmas ads this year.
An Post and Supervalu have both been playing with our hearts, with some genuinely heartwarming content.
But this ad from German pharmacy chain Doc Morris may have won the race for biggest tear-jerker of 2020.
The nearly 3-minute ad follows an elderly man living in his own, who one day becomes inspired to start building his fitness.
Family and neighbours watch on as the old man goes through his paces, lifting a heavy kettle bell and jogging in the snow-.
All the while, using a framed photo - which is only revealed at the end - for motivation.
However it soon becomes clear what he was training for as he gets dressed to go to Christmas dinner with his family...
