The winner has come forward.
The winner of last Saturday's lotto jackpot worth 2.4 milion euro has made contact with the National Lottery.
The ticket was sold in the small village of Convey in Co. Donegal at Harris' Service Station in Townparks.
Owner of the winning store, Evelyn Harris said she was delighted as she had always promised her customers a Lotto win.
''This is huge for the village of Convoy and I know that we’re going to be talking about this Lotto win for many years to come'', she said.
''Any of our customers will tell you that I am absolutely stone mad but I have been promising them that I would deliver a Lotto win to the town and it’s finally happened''.
Arrangements are being made for the winner to collect the prize.
