John, Tomas and Amelia Mullan were laid to rest in Donegal today.
Geraldine Mullan has described her husband John and children Tomas and Amelia as her 'three best friends' as they were laid to rest this afternoon.
John, Tomas and Amelia tragically died when the car they were travelling in crashed into Lough Foyle in Donegal last Thursday.
At their funeral mass in Moville, Geraldine described John as her 'rock', while she was 'proud' to have been a mum to Tomas and Amelia.
In a heartbreaking eulogy she said:
''I was privileged and honoured to be Tomas and Amelia's mum.
''I'm just sorry that I didn't get to be their mum for longer, they'll forever be my daring babies in my heart.
''And I'll always be picture different events that they should be doing, but unfortunately wont get to do''.
She called John the 'love of her life':
''You're my rock, my spirit, my best friend.
''You showed what true love was all about, you got my heart healed and you showed me what it was like to fall in love and be loved.
''And I had 10 precious years with you.''
After the funeral mass the three coffins carrying John, Tomás and Amelia were brought to the nearby Ballybrack Cemetery in Greencastle for burial.
