It'll be based on her life.
A musical based on the life of Princess Diana will stream on Netflix before it goes to Broadway.
Called Diana: A New Musical, it was originally slated as a stage show, but will now appear on Netflix due to Covid-19, Deadline reported.
The publication says that it will be filmed as any stage would be in New York City's Longacre Theatre, however there just won't be a studio audience.
Broadway is coming to Netflix. The new stage musical @DianaOnBroadway, starring Jeanna de Waal, will premiere next year ahead of its 2021 Broadway opening.

The producers of the musical issued a statement: "We speak for the entire company when we say that we couldn't be more excited to finally be able to share our show with theatre lovers everywhere.
"Though there is no substitute for the live theatre, we are honoured to be a part of the quality entertainment that Netflix provides its subscribers worldwide."
"Today, we can announce that we have approved a safety plan for Diana. Now comes the hard part – taking a safety plan from the page and putting it into practice.
"The work to provide the safest workplace possible in this environment will require everyone to work together, from the employer to every employee."
While a date for release hasn't been announced yet, it's anticipated it will arrive sometime before the Broadway premiere next year.
