Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
A cyclist n his 20's, who was knocked off his bike on Dublin's quays, has died.
It happened at around half 10 on Monday night on North Wall Quay.
The food delivery rider was taken to hospital in a serious condition but passed away from his injuries today.
The car failed to remain at the scene and was later discovered a short distance away.
The cyclist has been named as Thiago Cortes, and a vigil has been arranged in his honour for 5pm this evening at The Spire.
