Dublin Airport's plans for Covid testing will be announced in the coming days.
Covid tests will be available at Cork and Shannon airport from tomorrow.
A drive-through Covid testing facility will be up and running at both airport car parks tomorrow, with prices starting from €149.
State-of-the-art labs will be on site to process the tests. They'll be available to everyone, not just passengers.
The facilities are run by RocDoc and appointments are booked online. People will display a bar code in their window when they arrive. Turnaround times will depend on the type of test people opt for.
Those who do plan on travelling will need to check which test is required in their destination country.
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport Authority will formally announce details of it's on-site testing in the coming days.
Planning permission rules are being waived to speed up the process.
The facility will be open to anyone who wants to pay for a test. However, the DAA anticipates mainly departing passengers will use the facility.
From November 29th anyone arriving in Ireland from a red country can reduce the time they have to isolate, if they get a negative test result 5 days after arrival.
