It's fair to say Bridgerton has been the must-binge TV series of Lockdown the Third.

It's been the most-watched show on Netflix in Ireland for the past number of days with 63 million people across the globe also giving it a go.

Now, the show's creator has hinted it could run for a number of seasons.

The show is based on a series of books by Julia Quinn which has eight novels in total.

Plus, creator Chris Van Dusen is on board with making more series based on the novels. He told Collider.com that there are plenty other plots they can explore on the show:

"I feel like the first season was primarily about Daphne and her love story with Simon."

"But, this being a family of eight children and there being eight books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings. For each character, for sure."

When asked would that mean he's like to work on eight season, Chris replied:

"I would love that. In success, I would love that."

Sounds promising!
